We recently had the pleasure of working on this 1971 Aston Martin DBS – and what a difference a colour change can make.
It came to us in a tired bronze that just didn’t do the shape of the car justice anymore. The brief wasn’t for a full restoration, but we all knew it had the potential to really shine with a few key changes.

🎨 A New Lease of Life in Sebring Blue
After chatting things through with the owner, we settled on Sebring Blue – a vibrant but period-correct colour that suits the DBS perfectly. It’s amazing how much life the right shade can bring back to a car.
✨ The Details Make the Difference
We gave all the chrome a good polish, but left just a little patina in places to keep its character. The wheels were stripped of the old cream paint, sandblasted and powder-coated in a much fresher silver that really lifts the overall look.
😊 Worth It for the Reaction
Clint’s face when he saw it finished said it all. That’s the kind of reaction we love – the moment someone sees their car looking better than they imagined.
